K. Paul uses brilliant composition, exquisite color arrangement and a palette knife technique full of expression. The artist was born in 1960 is Seoul, Korea.
He graduated from Kun-Kuk University in 1987 and went on to sketch throughout Europe. His travels thru France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Holland and Hungary inspire his many landscapes. His travels studies led him to exposure to many great artist’s works, most significantly, Picasso. He began to concentrate on expressionism using cubist elements. Eventually his work evolved into stylized impressions of his chosen subjects, landscapes and musical instruments, occasionally using collage for added texture and dimension. Today K. Paul maintains a schedule of exhibitions and consistent line of new works for his collectors. His paintings can be found in commercial and residential collections throughout America, Europe and Asia.
