CLAUDIO SIMONETTI
Claudio Simonetti was born in Rome, on January 29, 1929. He was born into a well-known family of talented artists. His love and appreciation of art was inherited from his father, who also passed on impeccable taste in color. Simonetti began studying painting at the Rome Institute of Art, where his talent was quickly recognized. After leaving the institute, he traveled extensively through Italy and France, painting the scenery. During this time he continued to associate with, and study from other artists in well-known Art Centers.
Simonetti is still painting, and his work is displayed regularly in Rome, Venice, Naples, Milan, and Paris. He is constantly searching for new methods of expression in his art. Simonetti is a master of the fundamentals such as exquisite drawing, composition, and color. His artful and well-balanced paintings appeal to a wide range of taste, which has led to their presence in collections internationally.
