Christine Rennie - American Artist.
A painter of bold, modern florals, landscapes and seascapes.
Christine Rennie was born and raised in Richmond Virginia where she currently lives today with her husband and two children.
Growing up as the daughter of an artist, Christine was exposed to various forms of art and mediums, winning her first youth art competition at the age of seven.
Following the birth of her second child she began painting with a new eye for color and
technique.
Christine defines her personal style with bright colors and bold brush strokes. Preferring almost an impasto style of painting she builds paint layer by layer to add depth and texture to each piece. She uses many techniques and mediums to bring energy to each painting.
Her paintings have a decorative flair and a sense of fun, while including bold and bright colors in unique arrangements in a variety of sizes.
